Unprecedented flooding occurred on the Yellowstone River this past June. Many of us watched as the Yellowstone River showed its amazing power. Some of us have been directly affected and are still feeling the affects today. Come together to continue recovery efforts this Saturday, August 20th. The river and its fish need your help.

Give Back to the Yellowstone on August 20th. Grab a boat or friends with a boat and float sections of the river and clean up trash and debris still left from the June 13th flood. Bring your family, rally friends, and make a day on the river.

Check-in will begin at 9:00 AM at the Civic Center/bandshell at Sacajawea Park. Organizers will be assigning sections of the river to float or you can pick a spot to access on foot. Bags and gloves will be provided. All trash collected will be brought back to the park.

The day will be capped off with beer, food, and live music to celebrate your efforts to help cleanup the Yellowstone River.

Special thanks to Montana Trout Unlimited, Montana Freshwater Partners, Yellow Dog Community and Conservation Foundation, Neptune’s Brewery, and the Park County Environmental Council making this event happen. Additional sponsors include: Outdoor Guide Association, Sweetwater Fly Shop, Montana Classic Boat Builders, Skwala, Ten & Two, and Yellow Dog Fly Fishing Adventures.

HUGE thanks to the City of Livingston for providing space at the park and trash and debris removal. The team here at onWater app is excited to help.
